Description:
All graduate distance courses are open to students who wish to pursue course work in specific subject areas but have not been admitted to a masterÕs degree program. Students may not want to commit to a full degree program but may wish to take graduate distance courses to satisfy particular interests, fulfill CE credit needs, or earn a certificate. To encourage students to take advanced courses in subject areas of particular interest, several certificates of concentration are available. The certificates, awarded upon completion of three or four related three-credit courses, provide tangible evidence of graduate-level accomplishment and are an excellent way for prospective students to sample graduate study before making a full commitment to a masterÕs degree program. Certificate credits earned (except Advanced Management Certificate credits) may be applied toward the MSFS degree requirements if the student is subsequently admitted to a masterÕs degree program.
