The company persons were all very young and were all less than 30. First of all they gave a ppt. It was a sort of seminar which had all the information's abt the company

(TIP:- BE READY WITH PAPER AND PEN IF U DO HAV A SEMINAR LIKE THAT U CAN ALSO GET THE PROFILE FROM THEIR SITE BUT IT CONTAINS MANY HIDDEN INFORMATIONS WHICH CAN BE EVEN ASKED IN THE HR INTERVIEW)

The important information given in the seminar was
1. Provides ample oppt.for the freshers for overall devp.
2. Deals with diff. technologies.
3. req. hardworking and workaholic persons.
4. Provides faster rate of development and chances 2 become a project manager at the age of just 27.
5. ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFIED
6.PCMM LEVEL -5 company.
7.FIRST IN INDIA TO INTRODUCE "SAP" TECHNOLOGY.

SOME OF THE STUDENTS WERE ASKED ABT THIS CERTIFICATION IN THE HR ROUND LIKE
1. WHAT IS ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION?
2. DO U KNOW ANY COMPANY WHICH IS ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFIED?)
3. WHAT IS "SAP"?

The seminar finished at abt 11:30pm after that the first round started

ROUND FIRST: WRITTEN
DURATION : 60 MIN
PHASE I : VISUAL APTI. (30 MIN)
PHASE II :BUSINESS ENGLISH (30 MIN)
MARKING SCHEME : NO -VE MARKING BUT THEY CLEARLY SAID THAT THEIR WILL BE -VE MARKING IF SOME ONE IS JUST MAKING BLIND GUESS FOR EG. OPTING 3RD OPTIONS FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS. THERE WILL BE NO -VE MARKING IN ANY OTHER CASE. (i.e donot mark continuously 11111 OR 333333.....)

Phase I:-
It was a visual aptitude round in which we hav to do 36 questions in 30 min.

U HAV TO FIND THE APPROPIATE? IN THE GIVEN 8 OPTIONS. Normally the question hav a pattern and a seq. in a vertical format that is (1st, 4th and 7th) & (2nd, 5th and 8th) which will lead u to get the right ans.

(TIP:- SOME OF THE QUESTIONS WERE REALLY REALLY TOUGH. (Q-30 TO 33,36,28) DO NOT GIVE MORE THAN 60 SECONDS TO ANY QUESTION.)

PHASE -II BUSINESS ENGLISH TEST
SURPRISINGLY CALLED OFF (they said due to less student qualified in PHASE-1)...

ROUND II

TYPE: FORM FILLING
TIME: 3:00pm
Though this is not a round but i consider it as such because "ITS THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT OF SELECTION"

THEY GAVE 25 MIN. TO FILL FORM...............

REMEMBER THEY DONT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THE RESUME THAT WE HAD. THIS FORM WAS HAVING ALL THE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS THAT ARE ASKED BASED ON THE RESUME DETAILS. CH ETA NAS

BE VERY VERY SURE WHAT U R ANSWERING. U MUST REMEMBER ALL THE INFORMATION THAT U HAV ENTERED IN THE FORM AS THAY WILL DEFINATELY ASK U WHAT U HAV WRITTEN. PLEASE BE VERY VERY CAREFUL TO THIS. FILL ALL UR STRENGTHS, HOBBIES, WEAKNESS, XTRA ACTIVITIES, SPECIALITIES,YOUR KNOWLEDGE FOR PRG'ING LANG etc.......

ROUND III

time 4:00pm
We were having both tech and hr going side by side any one can have any round first. since they were having less time so they all got separated and only a single person was taking the respective interview.

I had my TECH round first. I had all sort of qs prepared which I had memorized.

I had interview with a young sir(YS).
I had had a 15 min TECH round.

Time:-9:30pm (IT WAS TECH+STRESS INTERVIEW since i was waiting from 4:00pm........).

My name was called and I entered the room. he was sitting on the chair

ME:GOOD EVEING SIR.
YS: GOOD EVEING HAV A SEAT.
ME:THANKYOU SIR.

TIP:- BE CONFIDENT AND LOOK STRAIGHT IN TO THE EYES OF HR INTERV. EVEN WHEN SITTING ON THE CHAIR THIS SHOWS UR CONFIDENCE

I SAW HE WAS HAVING ALL THE DOCUMENTS EVEN THE TEST PAPERS THAT WE HAV GIVEN + THE FORM WHICH WE HAV FILLED.

YS: SO ANKIT, TELL ME WHAT U KNOW ABT L & T INFOTECH ?
ME:GAVE ALL POINTS WHICH I NOTED FROM SLIDES IN MORNING........(INCLUDING SALARY....)

YS:(IMPRESSED) WHY DO U THINK L & T IS FASTEST GROWING FIRM.....?
ME:AGAIN GAVE ANS FROM SLIDES........

YS:ASKED A QUE ON ONE OF THE STRENTH MENTIONED IN THE FORM
ME:ANSWERED CONFIDENTLY (i.e.SUCCESSFULLY......).

YS: WHAT DO U MEAN BY HTML, WHY DO U USE IT?
YS:WHAT DO U MEAN BY INHERITANCE IN C?
YS: WRITE 3 DIFFERENT WAYS TO SWAP TWO GIVEN NUMBERS?
ME: TOLD ONLY 2 WAYS TO DO SO....

YS: WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN C & C++?
YS:WHAT DO U MEAN BY OPERATOR OVERLOADING?
YS:HOW TO DECLARE A POINTER IN C?
YS: OK ANKIT U CAN WAIT OUT SIDE FOR SOME TIME. THEN WILL CALL U FOR HR....

TIP:- I WISHED HIM THANKYOU AND SLOWLY PLACED THE CHAIR BACK AT ITS POSITION. DONT EVEN DARE TO COMMIT THE MISTAKE OF NOT PUTTING BACK THE CHAIR AT ITS ORIGINAL PLACE. BE SURE TO DO THIS

I WENT OUTSIDE AND JUST AFTER 10 MIN. I WAS CALLED FOR HR INTERVIEW. A YOUNG SIR (YS) WAS SITTING IN THE CABBIN SOME OF MY FRIENDS (WE WERE 4 & HE WAS ALONE.....)

TIME:10:00pm

AGAIN ALL MY DOCUMENTS WERE WITH HIM. (HE ASKED 2-3 QUE SIMULT.... TO A PERSON & THEN TO OTHER......)

YS:INTRODUCE YOUR SELF?
YS: TELL ME 3 THINGS THAT IRRITATES U MOST?

ME: 1. WHEN INDIA LOSSES A MATCH.
2. SURROUNDING BELONGING TO ME IS UNTIEDY.
3.THIRD REASON IS YET TO COME............

YS:YOUR FAMILY BACKGROUND?
YS:WHY U DID'T WENT TO YOUR FATHER's BUSINESS?
YS:WHAT DID U GAIN BY DOING YOUR X-TRA ACTIVITIES?

ME:-TIME MANAGMENT, HARDWORKING, LEADERSHIP SKILLS

TIP:- ALL THESE STRENGTHS WERE COLLECTED FROM THE PPT AND I TOLD THEM IN SAME ORDER AS I HAD WRITTEN IN THE PAPER I WAS ALSO PREAPERED WITH THE EXAMPLES OF ALL OF THEM BUT TOLD ONLY ABT FIRST SKILL AS IT TOOK TIME. ONE SHOULD NOT SPEAK FOR MORE THAN 2 MIN. CONTINIOUSLY IN HR.

ME:- I SOMETIMES FORCE MY GRP. MEMBERS TO WORK FAST TO SAVE TIME BUT I KNOW ALL ARE NOT ALAWAYS ON THE SAME WAVE LENGTH

YS: IN UR HOBBIES U HAVE WRITTEN ABT READING TECHNICAL MAGZINES, WHICH MAGZINES DO U READ?

I THANKED HIM PLACED THE CHAIR BACK AND WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM. THEY FINALLY SHORTLISTED 45.

RESULTS WERE declared AT 11:05pm.........(WITH CALL LETTERS)........

I HOPE THAT THIS MAIL WOULD BE A GOOD SOURCE FOR THE PREPARATION FOR L&T.
