INFOSYS PAPER ON 20th JUNE AT HYDERABAD Hi everyone ...I'm Kaushik ....infosion from now......INFOSYS attended our campus on 20th june.174/350+ cleared the written test and a whooping number of 118 were selected.... -->the written test consists of two parts
1.quant nad logical reasoning
2.verbal In quant and reasoning 1-5 questions were from arrangements,6-10 is oddfigure out,11-15 is data sufficiency,16-20 Data interpretation(it was tough attenpt this at last),21-25 syllogisms,25-30 In verbal 1-5 and 6-10 were 2 RCs(very large ones),next correction of sentences(senteces were also large),sentence completion,correct the underlined phrase,logical conclusion from a passage of 4-5 lines,(this section basically checks ur reading spped...the fast u can read the more r ur chances) Next HR:-
there were 6 panels ....they've asked to explain about ur resume,some were askin questions like tell me a situation where u've solved a problem innovatively,what do u mean by "innovative".if u've mentioned abt ny group activities in resume the they'll ask whether there were any problems u've faced with the group members and hw cud u solve them....etc.....and u've to talk thats it even if there are no valid points in ur answer. Next they'll ask u abt ur family backgroung and compulsorily ur role model.......be prepared for that and also ur strenghts and weakness
if u can answer the above questions well they'll go for puzzles or they'll give u a paper in which there will be 6 topics and ask u to choose nyone and talk for 1 min. topics include global warming,is marriage necessary,what can u do for ur state,poverty in india.......next they'll ask u puzzles...they'll start with the tough one.....if u cud answer its good ,if not they'll decrease the level for next and so on for 3-4 puzzles (the last one wud be veryyy easy)if u can answer ny one u r thru.....or else it wud be tough.... thats it friends....i've answered confidently and i've spoke fluently....i've answered the 3rd puzzle given ....and got thru the interview..... ALL THE BEST.....
